Christina Poku is a photographer and art director based in London. She creates staged scenes that fuse realities with colourful abstracted motifs. Her work utilises cross-disciplinary skills with an unapologetic colour palette to create impactful photographs and cinemagraphs.
At the beginning of her career, she worked in set design, assisting on shoots for the likes of Harrods, The Sunday Times Style and Baku. Alongside her current photography practice, Christina also works as an art director, most recently on projects for The Spice Girls, Anne-Marie, Disney and Uniqlo.
This year, Christina is one of two 2020-2021 Adobe Creative Residents.
